  1. Question- Tell me about a time when you had too many things to do and you were required to prioritize your tasks.

My Answer- A great example is a time that I was making a fishing license, helping a customer with a selection of ammunition, recieving a phone call from a customer, and about to page for help at the paint counter. I prioritized my tasks by doing everything as efficent as possible. While making the license I made the page. After that I got the ammuntion and and checked the customer out at my register. After this, I answered the outside phone call from the customer. I knew that I needed to help customers on a first come first serve basis, and this helped me finish everything I needed to do in the least amount of time.

  2. Describe a time in school when you had many projects or assignments due at the same time. What steps did you take to get them all done?

These are the steps I take to complete every project or assignment when many are due at once. First, I organize everything in a way that I won't be confused or mistaken. Then, I divide my time among the assignments/projects to complete them in a timely manner. Usually, some are easier than others, so they won't take as much time. I decide to complete the easier ones early on so that I'll have more time to work on the harder ones. Last, I double-check everything, from beginning to end, to make sure I left nothing out or messed anything up.

  3. Q: Tell me about a time when you had too many things to do and you were required to prioritize your tasks
A: I would prioritize by due date and decide what can be delagated to others. I will finish one project completely before moving onto the next and find out who I can recruit to do other tasks that I may need done for me, but only use these volunteers as a back up.

  4. When have you motivated yourself to complete an assignment or task that you did not want to do?
A situation where I had to motivate myself to accomplish a task would be completing homework assignments for statistics class. In many cases the homework for statistics class may be too extreme or pointless and I do not want to do it but I have to motivate myself to get it done, efficiently and right! I remind myself that if I do not complete my work then there will be consequences that I will be faced with, a disappointing grade that will pull my grade point average down which will ultimately look bad on a college transcript. Also my teacher does not give us homework that often so when assignments are giving it is crucial that they are taking seriously! In life there are many tasks we will be asked to do and I feel that everyone has to motivate themselves in one way or another to complete each goal set before them.

  7. Q: Describe a time where you didn't agree with the rules of certain athority in power. What did you do in this situation?
A: In high school, to go out to eat for senior lunch, every senior had to bring in this signed piece of paper saying it was ok. By November, the ones who had turned in their slips were waiting on the slackers who didn't turn their slips in. We didn't think it was fair so we started a petition on how unfair that rule was and it was soon changed so we could enjoy our senior lunch.

  10. Q: If you could do so, how would you plan your college career differently?

A: If I could plan my college career differently, I would get serious sooner. I didn't realize that it's not that complicated to just add a few hours a day in for studying, and that would make a huge difference. I had to sit out two semesters and that set me back a little, but what set me back even more was the fact that I didn't do as well as I should have my first and second years. Now I know how to manage my time better and focus how I should have when I first started.
